Step 1: Initial Screen Setup
This may or may not be applicable - if the screen has been preconfigured by us or the supplier, this step won't apply.
- Connect the screen to power
- Welcome
- Select language with Up and Down arrows
- Once selected, Right Arrow, Click Start
- Network Settings (this can be skipped and completed later)
- Select either Wifi or Ethernet depending on your requirements
- Wifi
- Right Arrow to Next
- Select WiFi Access Point
- Type in Password (press Return button to remove keyboard)
- Select Next
- Signage Display Settings
- Navigate to Skip
- Setup Complete
- Click Finish
Step 2: Philips Configuration
Set Screen to Automatically Run Fusion Signage When Turned On
- Home -> Configuration1 -> Boot on source -> Action
- Set Input = Custom
Set Screen to Automatically Turn on After an Unplanned Power Outage.
- Home -> Configuration1 -> Switch on state = Force On
Set Screen to correct orientation
- Home -> Configuration2 -> System Rotation -> Landscape or Portrait
Set power mode on screen
- Home -> Advanced option -> Power Save = Mode 3
Set Date and Time
- Home -> Configuration 1 -> Date and Time -> Set Timezone
Set Schedule on Screen to Turn On And Off Automatically (may or may not be required)
- Home -> Advanced Option -> Schedule -> Action
Tiling Multiple Screens in a Video Wall Configuration
- Connect other screens using DVI-D or Displayport daisy chain as per user manual
- Home-> Advanced Option -> Tiling -> Action
Configure all screens accordingly as per user manual.
Step 3: Connect screen to WiFi or Ethernet
On your Philips remote control, press the below button sequence. This occasionally won't work if you do it too quickly, or too slowly. Ensure you press the buttons in sequence in around 3 seconds.
HOME -> 1 -> 8 -> 8 -> 8
If you have done it successfully, you should see the below screen.

Use the directional keypad to browse to Network -> WiFi.
Toggle WiFi on using the toggle switch in the top-right corner. The system will search for available WiFi networks.
Select your desired network and enter the password. Once done, tap Connect.
Once connected, you should now have internet access!
Step 4: Assign Teamviewer Host to Aria Digital's account
Open the backend Android menu by pressing Home 1 8 8 8 in sequence on the remote.
Go to Apps -> Chromium
In the address bar at the top, enter the below URL

898.tv/adsandroid
This will open up Host and automatically assign it to Aria Digital's support network. When Host asks you to install an additional addon, tap Install - you may need to allow Host to install applications.

To select the address bar, tap the Adjust button on the remote control
Once done, Aria should be able to gain remote access to finish device configuration.
Step 5 (completed by Aria): Download the Fusion app and install
Open the Chromium browser and type the below URL into the address bar to download the latest Fusion Signage APK. Note that if the screen is older than a BDL4550D (eg. 4150/4050D), you will need to download version 2.3.6 from the second link.

The file will be downloaded to the Downloads directory. Open the file by browsing to File Manager -> Downloads. Select Install and wait for it to install.
Navigate to Settings -> Signage Display -> Source Settings -> Custom -> Select App and select Fusion Signage
Step 6: Assign Fusion to Portal
Power cycle the screen or manually open the Fusion app from the Apps screen
Assign screen using the on-screen identity to the portal
